TMT internally develops products that can be used in a variety of applications. These products are meant to be used by the public to meet their thermal management needs.
Non-Intrusive Flow Meter
As water resources becoming increasingly strained against the demand, the need for tracking water usage is increasing -- and it has to be cost-effective.
TMT is developing thermal based non-intrusive flow metering technology to provide necessary measurements without placing measurement hardware in the flow. This helps keep potential problems from blockages at bay and allows it to be adapted to any flow device.
Pulsating Heat Pipes
Pulsating heat pipes (PHP) use rapid pulsations of liquid/vapor slugs between an evaporator and condenser to transfer heat away from a surface, most often used in electronics. PHPs are receiving increased attention due to the straight forward fabrication and reduced impacts to imperfections when compared to other heat pipe technologies.
TMT is evaluating several room temperature PHPs to determine proper applications and to assess performance correlations. Examples of PHP applications include:
